Turn your business plan into a presentation with your own figures, in PowerPoint

Short answer: drop your business plan (PDF, Word or Excel) into Slidy and it builds a 5 to 35 slide presentation in about 15 to 25 seconds, using only the numbers written in your plan. Any figure your plan does not contain shows as XX for you to fill in. You edit for free in the browser and export an editable PowerPoint for €2.99, with no subscription.

How to turn a business plan into slides, step by step

  1. Drop the file. Slidy accepts PDF, Word (.docx), Excel and PowerPoint files, or pasted text. A Word or PDF plan with a separate Excel forecast works best when the key numbers are written in the document you upload.
  2. Say who it is for. Add one line such as "12 slides for a bank loan meeting" or "investor presentation, seed round". Naming the audience and the slide count in your request helps match the deck to the meeting.
  3. Generate. In about 15 to 25 seconds you get a deck with varied layouts: key figures, timeline, step-by-step process, comparison table, 2x2 matrix. A theme is picked from your subject among 12.
  4. Check every number. Figures come from your plan. Where the plan is silent, the slide shows XX. Replace each XX in the browser editor, or delete the line.
  5. Export. Pay €2.99 for that deck (or €9.99 for 5 exports) and download a native .pptx that opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote.

Where the figures come from (and why you will see XX)

A business plan presentation is judged on its numbers, so Slidy never invents them. Revenue, margins, market size, loan amount, hiring plan: each figure on a slide is taken from the text you provided. If your plan mentions a break-even month but no revenue for year 3, the year 3 slot shows XXinstead of a plausible-looking guess.

This is deliberate. A banker or investor who spots one made-up number stops trusting the rest. Before exporting, search the deck for XX and either fill the value from your forecast spreadsheet or remove it. Slidy does not build your financial model or check that your forecast is realistic: that work stays with you or your accountant.

Bank, investor or partner: adapt the same plan

  • Bank loan: keep it short (8 to 12 slides) and put the financing plan, cash flow and repayment capacity early. Bankers read the numbers first.
  • Investors: lead with the problem, the market and traction, then the funding round and use of funds. See the AI pitch deck generator page for a pitch-first structure.
  • Partner or supplier: focus on the offer, the operations plan and what the partnership brings to both sides.

Limits to know before you start

Slidy is for one person preparing a deck. It has no real-time co-editing, comments, team workspace or brand kit, and the PowerPoint download is paid (€2.99 per deck). Scanned PDFs without selectable text cannot be read. Free photos come from free photo libraries and are credited.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI turn my business plan into a PowerPoint presentation?+
Yes. Slidy reads a business plan in PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint format and generates a 5 to 35 slide presentation in about 15 to 25 seconds. You edit it in the browser and export an editable .pptx for €2.99, with no subscription.
Will the AI make up numbers for my financial slides?+
No. Slidy only uses figures written in the text you provide. When a number is needed but missing from your plan, the slide shows XX so you can fill it in yourself before presenting.
How many slides should a business plan presentation have?+
Most founders use 10 to 15 slides: title, problem, offer, market, competition, business model, go-to-market, team, milestones, financial forecast, funding request and close. For a bank meeting, 8 to 12 slides with the financing plan early is usually enough.
How much does it cost?+
Every account gets 2 free AI presentations every week with preview and editing, no card needed. Exporting to PowerPoint costs €2.99 per deck, or €9.99 for 5 exports. There is no subscription. You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Can I open the exported file in Google Slides or Keynote?+
Yes. The export is a native, editable .pptx file that opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote, so you can keep adjusting text and figures after download.
Does Slidy work if my business plan is not in English?+
Yes. Slides are written in the language of your document, so a French or Spanish business plan gives a French or Spanish presentation. The Slidy interface itself is in English.
